Please place these in alphabetical order for faster check-in. THANK YOU!

Some Things to Remember

1.    Parents will sit opposite of the players and directly opposite of their team.  Please do not set up camp on the side of the field of the opposing team.  You will be asked to move.

2.    Spectators are expected to remain 10 feet from the touchline to give the referee's ample ability to see down the field without obstruction.

3.    Spectators will not be allowed to wonder up and down the sidelines.

4.    Unsporting behavior by the spectators will not be tolerated.  Spectators who cannot show restraint during these CHILDREN'S games will be asked to leave and in the event they are ejected they run the risk of missing the remainder of their children's games as adult spectator ejections are treated like Coach/Trainer ejections.  Please advise your parents that this is a Children's event and while it can be stressful we need to allow the Children to have their moment and not ruin it with bad Adult behavior.

5.    Game cards will be taken to the fields by the referee's and will be returned to the tent by the Referee's or by a Field Staff Member.   After signing the game card no team should retain possession of the game card.  If you find that you have walked off with it - please return it to the tent immediately.

6.  Schedules are subject to change.  We try to limit the changes made and provide ample notice to all teams - however, it is the teams responsibility to check on line and at the bracket board for any game changes. Each team will be provided a tournament book at check in which will be the most current and up-to-date schedule.  Any changes made after the games have started will be verbally told to the affected teams.

7.    Any comments or questions regarding referee's or administration of the games should be directed to Pam Kasperitis at the Corpus Christi site or Chuck Jeffords at the Westlake site.  CBYSA/Padre and AU Capitals are our hosts.  They are providing the fields and the workers to help us.  Please thank them for their time and effort and direct any problems you have to Chuck and I.

8.    Your penalty point reports will be distributed to you for review Monday or Tuesday and will be at the site waiting - you do not need to "bring" anything.

9.    Last but not least for NOW - each team staff member is responsible for stressing to their players and parents that this is an event for the Children.  They have earned their moment in the sun and will be spending the weekend working hard to advance to State.  It is our goal to help them obtain these goals in the most positive setting possible.  Let adult issues be adult issues and kid issues be kid issues  - do not ruin the event for them.  Congratulate them on a game well played and hard fought; encourage everyone to represent themselves; their team; their club and Western District in a positive manner.  If everyone tries to do this - I guarantee you that we will have a successful event.
